look up Sas Bravo two zero, 8 SaS soldiers were dropped deep into iraqi territory during the 1991 gulf war to sabotage an optic cable wire and Scud sites. They got caught in the process but killed well over 350 iraqi soldiers and most of them got out alive, one even trekked 130 miles into syrian territory to escape in 5 days with hardly any food or water since they had to ditch there bergens for faster maneuverability
