when i started working out i didn't have any acne. but when i started using suppliments, like xpand/NO explode, i noticed a few pimple coming up. didn't think much of it. just kept using the same deep pore clensing face wash ive always been using. its goten progressivly worst in the last few months, especially over the summer... im starting to get worried. so i went to the docter and got started on an anti biotic. and i was reading around about all the stuff in pre workouts and proteins im taking. il tell you my suppliments in a minute here. my question is basicly:
does anything in pre workouts/suppliments cause acne?
right now, im using: 1 more rep, and quick mass.
in the past ive used:
pre workouts: superpump, nano vapor, NO explode, Xpand.
for proteins: myofusion, mutant pro, 100% whey,
others: mutant mass, quick mass.

It could be the protien powders. I've noticed when I eat lots of dairy products I tend to breakout a lot more. Lots of people say that there's no correlation between food and acne severity but I disagree. How can the things that you put into your body not affect your skin?
Try cutting out dairy for a while, drink more water, and change your pillowcases every couple days, then report back.Misc BJJ Crew

Being 16 causes acne. Your body is a torrent of hormones right now and that **** just happens. Working out hard and eating a good diet can up your test levels even more, which can lead to acne. If you're worried about it see a derm and get some pills.
edit - read you saw a doc, cool.... i remember when i was on antibiotics they worked slowly, and it seemed even worse at first... after several months it was gone and pretty much never came backA million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.

I believe Arg can increase the likelyhood of cold sores among other things... and I think l-lysine reduces them. I've not read up on this in a long time but that's from memory what I read.
