I've been off the gym for a while and was stupid and went for a 5k jog 2 weeks ago. My left hip was in excruciating pain afterwards and I was limping for 2-3 days. My hip has been a little aggrevated ever since. Not when walking, but when getting up or sitting down, if I twist a certain way, I get a very sharp pain in my hip area. It seemed to have completely subsided by the weekend, so I went for a 4.5k walk last night, and it was in a world of pain again, last night. Tender this morning, but nothing compared to last night.
Any ideas? I don't power-walk or anything. I was just walking the dog and walked at a normal pace.
Biking doesn't aggrevate my hip at all. I tried doing squats last week, but my hip was still sore from the run... I'll try squats again next week, once my hip is healed up a little better.
