When girls say that, don't you feel like cockslapping them, especially when you're not even that muscular? I'm not big at all, pretty average guy who looks like he hits the gym, yet I get this sometimes and I absolutely hate it. It makes you feel like all your hard work is done for nothing.

I don't do this for girls, I do it for myself, but it still makes you feel kind of bad when people put you down because you're muscular and prefer skinny twiggy looking guys.

Yeah, but when you're only 18, you're not gonna go for 20 year olds. The normal thing is to go for girls your age, or a bit younger, in which case, there are a lot of girls who prefer a skinny guy, or in some cases, a chubby guy because it gives them something to "hug"... puke. I've heard some girls say before "I don't want a muscular guy because it feels like you're hugging a rock, and a chubby guy feels soft and cuddly"...ugh.

I'm not, I'm gonna continue working out regardless, don't care if every girl in the world hates it.

I know most prefer it anyways as long as it isn't "too much", but I'm just saying, there are stupid ones out there who like out of shape guys and it just seems weird and annoying.

Also, you're right, I wouldn't go for a girl who's out of shape anyways, and a girl who's out of shape would much more appreciate guys who work hard at the gym...

Most girls who say are that are just self-conscious and feel they are unattractive. So they say they don't want the best because they know they can't get none.
My muscular friend told me this. I wouldnt know cause im skinny, but ill get there eventually.
If you have a honest conversation with a confident smoking hot girl, she is gonna say that she likes muscular guys as long as they are not "too muscular."

At the college level you're going to be surprised the attention you can get for being buff. Not only from girls, but from guys. Attention from guys and girls=networking...networking=lots of people knowing you......when you are known for something like being physically great(good athlete) girls are going to be interested...make sense?

Btw, these girls that say they don't like muscle guys are the same ones who have probably never seen a truly good physique in person. their idea of muscular guys are either the ones they see in magazines who are roided out or the chubby guys in their high school who lifts a lot that everybody calls buff only because those same people that label the chubby kids buff have never seen a truly buff person IN person. My point: their idea of a muscular guy is skewed and inaccurate. I'm 5'8'' 213 and lean and girls NEVER complain about my physique

My advice: build a physique, be physically dominant and obtain attention from people naturally, and then come back to this thread and let me know how right i am.
