When I was a kid I liked Gilligan's Island. No idea why because it was so stupid.
I did think it was cool that Gilligan never had to pick out his clothes every day because he just had the same outfit, so when I was in highschool I bought 5 pairs of levi's bluejeans and a drawer full of black t-shirts and did the same thing.

Loved "Lost in Space" as well as "Land of the Giants".
Didn't have a tv when I was real young, 1st one I recall was about the age of 7-8 and it was a 19" b&w that got 3 channels. "Family Affair" was a show my mom approved of & let us watch.

Not really a show per se but....when I was a kid was once every couple months or so they would have monster week on the 4 o'clock movie. godzilla, mothra that kind of stuff. Not a kid to be seen on the block that week...

In my town we had a theater that would run those movies every saturday. Place was always packed with hundreds of kids acting like kids....the parents used the theater as cheap babysitters for a few hrs.Originally Posted by djflex

Hated that show but loved Don's voice.
And I too forgot about Kung Fu, watched it almost every week at my Uncles house. My aunt would make us popcorn or scoop up ice cream for me & my cousins. "Good Times" indeed & no I didn't like that show.
