It does matter if how many meals you eat helps keep you on your diet.

I eat 4 meals a day. One meal every 4 hours.

Perfect spread and meal/calorie size to keep me on my diet.

If I ate 1 meal a day at night I would be hungry all day and find it hard to stop eating when meal time came around. From being so fu*kin hungry.

If I ate 6 meals a day I would be unsatisfied from the smallness of each meal. Not to mention having to eat every 2.5 hours. No thanks.

Meal frequency makes a big fu*ckin difference.

Putting what both of you are saying together, the answer is basically that meal frequency shouldn't effect gains as long as you're keeping your overall diet on track. You're both correct, IMO.

Very, very well said. OP: your question was perfectly answered by this guy...thread is now done.
