A drunk Guatamalan illegal day laborer (aka drain on socitety) lunges at a cop with a knife, cop told him in BOTH english and spanish to drop it. He didn't listen. Cop fired 2x in protection of his own safety and safety of the public. Dude dies. Leaves children behind due to his own ignorant act. People misunderstand the situation as police brutality, saying the cop executed the illegal. Small riot. Throw bottles n stuff at cops, light s#it on fire.

Did he deserve what he got?

Cop showed restraint. Told the suspect in english AND SPANISH ,"drop the knife ". That extra second could have made a world of difference. Me thinks the cop should be awarded.

Upon further investigation, not sure if illegal. All the articles say is immigrant, who had been here for 6 years looking for work, mainly in a Home Depot parking lot. I just assumed.
