awesome physique, both him and Dave Dearth got screwed a few times after they came back from the WBF. Aaron should have won the Ironman in 95 (I think that was the year when Wheeler came back from his injury). Nothing can convince me that he lost that show. Amazing arms and one of the best backs we've seen in the last 20 years. How he's not on the best backs lists people post is beyone me. I would take the back double bi shot from the above video's and put them againts almost anyone and he can hold his own. the detail he ahd was incredible.
he was one of the guys who Metzer was actually training, his workouts were great when they showed him on the old WBF show.

I remember watching an Olympia in the 90's (don't recall which one) and even one of the announcers, a former bodybuilder, commented on how they could not believe how Aaron Baker always gets overlooked. Might have been the 1996 Mr. O in Chicago. A lot of them had him slated for the top 5 easy and came in like....10-14th place...somewhere in there.

no, not anymore actually. hes now an ordained minister and actually came up to washington to open up another ministry up in the north end of the puget sound. its in the works with the people whom he works with and will open next month october which i plan to help and attend. the man is still in amazing shape and its funny the reactions that people get when they find out that he is an ex world class bodybuilder, but then again you cant help but notice him...lol

I knew Aaron way back in the early '80s when he still lived in Stockton and worked at the Gold's Gym that I worked out at when I was in college then. I remember he was a big Monty Python fan and was a good artist.
I lost track of him when he moved to Southern Cal. Something recently reminded me of him and I did a Google search.
It's good to know that he had a pretty exciting career as a pro bodybuilder!
