    Question are drag curls a MUST?

    i never done them.

    for biceps i do a few of these
    hammer curls
    concentration curls
    closegrip bb curl
    cross body hammer curls
    incline db curls

    nothing is a must..drag curls are nice though, it really isolates the bicep and takes shoulder play and cheat out.
    I like them. my curl routine usually looks something like;

    strait bar curls
    preacher curls
    drag curls
    reverse curls
    burnout with cable curls

    only exercises that are a must are Squats, deads, bench, and rows...u can pretty much throw any curl move out
