I don't think we're apart from the universe. I think we're molecules and chemical reactions and will eventually be so well virtually modeled that we'll be perfectly predictable.

We are the universe, but our thoughts are irrelevant to the universe. What we think has no effect. We are merely just another life form that will eventually die out, just like the rest of 'em. We are not the universe trying to understand itself. Our conscience doesn't mean sheet to the universe. Just means we have a more evolved frontal lobe.
