    So had my first thing of Whey Protein yesterday..

    I should have read more... I mixed it with water. I've never had something more repulsive in my life. I was so out of control sick to my stomach that day. What do you guys mix that stuff with man, I mean I downed it even like that but I'd love to try something else.

    skim milk. and what brand/flavor did you have? back in the day most protein powders tasted like chalk mixed with wall paper paste...but nowadays the flavor/textures have improved greatly.

    and if you want something truly repulsive, try a glass of 'greens' powdered vegetable juices. my daughter calls it frog puke. i still choke it down twice a day, though, $hit does a body good!

    Thats the ****ty thing, taking whey with milk tastes a tonne better but slows down its absorption dramatically. Taking it with water tastes like **** but gives fast absorption, Try hacking down your post workout shake with water and maybe mix your others throughout the day with milk

    You should have your shake post workout becuase the speedy absorbtion bascially works better. i dont want to explain it cus it will confuse the sh!t out of you. And for taste, umm what brand do you drink because mine taste fine.

    It's Designer Strawberry, and it's Ice Mountain Bottle Water (Not that it matters a whole lot on water)

    I can't stand most strawberry proteins.

    Also, if it was that bad, you must have some sensitive taste buds. If you're looking for some good tasting proteins, there are plenty of threads about it - search and you shall find.

    Well you see as far as the apple for lunch I don't have a lot of choice. I work 6 days a week 10am-8pm it's fast food like McDonalds or fruit for lunch. I presumed fruit would be a better choice.

    Yeah, the strawberry wasn't even like strawberry. It reminded me like crazy of this medicine for broncitis(spelling). Was repulsive, I wouldn't mind like blending this **** into a shake or something but gotta figure out how to make enough for one glass or I'd be wasting $ and protein.

    right im guessing you didnt get a flavour? first things first, that was stupid...

    Now ways to make it taste half decent.

    Use milk instead of water. ALways tastes better with milk.

    Now you got the base sorted try add flavouring like these -

    cinnamon
    Peanut butter
    honey
    nesquick
    cocoa
    sweetner
    coffee so its a kinda frappee

    Anyway good luck and i hope you will learn from this and buy a nice flavoured one next time.

    OP lemme tell you something, disregard everything you've ever heard about weightlifting when it comes to diet. For putting on mass, diet is NOT healthy. Get that out of your head. Consuming huge amounts of calories and eating foods solely for caloric purposes is not going to be healthy. Get that out of your head. You need to eat huge quantities of food to grow, end of story.

    Add milk to your shake, make it taste better and more calories which you definatly need
    You can be as cold as the winter weather but I don't care as long as were together <3

    an ED is a mental disorder, and it cant be fixed by telling him to eat more, he needs professional "help" if hes serious about his meal plan

    Honestly don't know anything about eating disorders.
    Although before I started lifting I was so addicted to runescape I used to only eat one or two meals a day, and getting up I'd sometimes pass out from low blood sugar.

    So it's possible to live like that, jus sayin

    Although before I started lifting I was so addicted to runescape I used to only eat one or two meals a day, and getting up I'd sometimes pass out from low blood sugar.

    So it's possible to live like that, jus sayin
    i had to quit playing call of duty because i was addicted and not eating enough or training.
    luckily, my brother is still playing it, so im 10th prestige, lol

    and protein powder is a very light, fine powder, unlike weight gainer.
    i dont see what you guys are compaining about. i used to spoon some directly in my mouth(just the powder), and then take a large gulp of water or milk. Same with creatine, easiest way to ingest it.

    Yeah not a troll I didn't feel like going into detail about actual food just summarized so~

    Breakfast:
    40G Protein
    10G Worth of Peanut Butter w/ Ritz Crackers
    1 Bottled Water

    Lunch:
    Apple w/ some type of pop. Occassionally fruit cups if still hungry
    or fast food consisting of..

    2x Double Hamburgers
    1x Large Fry
    1x Large Coke

    Dinner:

    Chicken or Steak (12 oz)
    Rice, Muffins, Peas, Broccolli
    Bottled Water

    Work out

    Post Workout
    40G of Protein
    Bowl of Raisin Bran no milk.
    Bottled Water


    I am probably eating just over 2k in calories. I've only tracked it once. I know I am fluxing 3 pound sup and down a lot. So whatever I am eating its hovering what I need to maintain.

    better, but depending on your stats, you may still lose weight on this diet.
    And pick the fast food over the apple.
    try adding more food to this diet.
