If i make my protein shake around 8am, and leave it in my lunch bag till around 1:30 and drink it, is that to long of a wait?

depends on the weather too i'd say. if its winter time it should last pretty long, but if its a hot summer day, better drink it within an hr or two. It spoils just like regular milk when you don't put it in the fridge.
I usually put it in the fridge at work if I have to mix it from home in the mornin, or if not possible, I'd add some ice to the container just to keep it cool for a while.

Well the longest I let it sit in my shaker bottle is 2 hours.
I work and go to school all day, so I always use my shaker bottle
but I learned something today! i should chill my water/whey OR just add cold water to it so it wont spoil as quickMisc jawbrah appreciation crew
