Do you put your hand/arm on the outside of your leg, or in front of your leg?
Should your palm be facing in or backwards?
Thanks!

Here's one example of how to do Dumbbell Rows:
No brain, no gain.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

"You can map out a fight plan or a life plan, but when the action starts, it may not go the way you planned, and you're down to your reflexes - that means your preparation. That's where your roadwork shows. If you cheated on that in the dark of the morning, well, you're going to get found out now, under the bright lights." — Joe Frazier

When it comes to dumbell rows there are a few ways to do them. One leg on the bench one off enables a nice solid support, and you can cheat more with later reps if needed. You also could do them free standing bent over touching something real low like a dumbell bench, returning the weigh to the ground with each rep. This is much harder as can't generate any cheat momentum really. Do them with your head down on an elevated surface and there is no real ability to cheat at all.
When it comes to grip you have underhand or hammer grip bascially, some do overhand but its less common. If you grip the dumbell not exactly in the middle but more towards the top near the edge of the plates you can rest it more against your wrist and it makes it easier to hold on if your grip is weak. Most people do rows with the dumbell on the outside of the leg, if its between the leg its more like a t bar row with a dumbell, might as well just do a one arm t bar row then.MyMuscles.com
