Made it 20 minutes on the stair climber at a higher level today. Super sweaty, but feeling great.

Victory: PB on smith machine glute bridge
Challenge: I can't do a front squat to save my life. I can do the movement but I'm very boney with an exposed clavicle (lol i think that's what the big bone is called lol) and it hurts even on the smith and the pad is to big. I try all the time and look like a freaking idiot when i do it lol ... Any advice? I've even streamed videos of people doing them to see what im doing wrong and I'm just guessing I'm just to small on top.Victoria_Alaine

''Challenging'' for right now >> My gym is undergoing some renovations, which will be very cool when completed, but while they're going through them, it's a bit cramped, the actual weights area. Not the end of the world, but the gym serves as a sanctuary for me of sorts, and it's been not so much that, these days. Meh, shouldn't complain. The end is near, should be completed by end of month.

the torture... is that I just found out I have patellofemoral syndrome and I've been ignoring it for years! I use to exercise improperly for too long. so my physiotherapist has reduced me to walking and low impact aerobics that don't use my knees (punching combos, side steps, etc).
I was kind of dreading it, thinking it wouldn't be a fun workout, but I made a routine earlier today based off some videos I found and it was actually a good work-out and I still broke out in a good sweat. I was happy! no pain either which is a plus... 60 min. Going to do another session/walking later plus training and her specific physio exercises she has set out for me.

super newbie here, but i've finally stuck to my routine for 6 weeks! previously i'd hit about 4 and have no motivation :/ but something is different this round..
plus i can lift more weight than ever! not a lot yet, but i can't wait to see what i can do in a year
semi failure: i can't seem to make myself get up early to do it in the morning. working on it. not a necessity, but would free up more time in my evenings!

I've been through two injuries this past year, the most recent being sciatica. It lasted for roughly 4 months and just started getting back to deadlifts and squats. I'm following strong lift's 5x5 now and happy to report that last night, I was able to lift over 100 lbs for a deadlift, which is the most I've been able to DL in 4 months! Excited about this, because I think I've turned the corner with that injury now.
