You are very inspiring with all the good work you are doing in the gym! It get's me going some nights just trying to keep up. Good job on the bench!

Today was my "heavy" day on the 11 rep week of All Pro's Beginner program. I got two sets of squats at 110 for 11 reps. My legs felt like jelly, but my form stayed good, I to my butt to the bench, and I did all the reps! I actually got all 11 reps for every exercise, although bench, over head press and curls started to really, really burn near the end. Gota work on my chicken arms! Still, I felt really good after! I love reading about everyone's accomplishments in here!

Try using a neutral grip for unasst'd pullups. It relies more on the biceps than back so you might get better results to start. They're also great confidence builders. I can do more of those than any other type.

Wow! All of you ladies are so strong! =) As for me, today, I did weighted hip thrusts for the first time at home. I got the biggest luggage I own and filled it with heavy textbooks and magazines. I'm still too embarrassed to do weighted hip thrusts at the gym. I wouldn't call that a victory though, but it was tiring and it kicked my ass!

I did them for the first time this week myself - in the weight room. I thought I'd be embarassed but actually, I'd rather get a firmer bootie than be embarassed in my bathing suit this summer! It's bathing suit season already in Florida so I just sucked it up! You'll get there when you're ready

I just bought a new bathing suit. I'm going to have to try these one way or another. We should all just pick a day and dub it 'Weighted Hip-Thrust at the Gym Day' if we all do it on the same day maybe we won't get embarrased knowing everyone else is doing them to. lol! (Must post vidds though!)

thanks for the encouragement. It 'sthe end of the 10 week program nad it all went by the plan. I suprised myself event with the pretty fast improvement.
as for the belt, I don't have my own, and there's only an xl sized one in the gym. I plan on getting one, should be a bit easier.

It's not a super huge accomplishment but after flying in from the west coast 5 1/2 hours on a economy plane (S - U - C - K - S) and getting in late (plus the whole 3 hour jet lag thing) I still managed to get my butsky to the gym and get my DL's in for the week! I didn't have mind blowing sets but I finished with 2sets of 5 @ 161 & 171 so I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now.
Think I earned a beer for today?!?
