to tell you the truth back in my day.. Last year i used to do it before and after and i must say it works like a charm but you need a lot of sleep for the next day and do it over again. now i do it before.

I do cardio for 45 minutes in the morning and then lift heavy at night it works. i cut and losing weight at the same time i gaining muscle. it depends on what you trying to do though.

I'm trying to lose the last of my love handles and get definition. is gonna take me 3 month and i know for sure it will work.. wished you the best luck bro..don't take it from me because i stared to hit the gym serious 2 month ago and have been working out for 2 month straight without resting any day..

i have been working out for 7 years, back then i was loosing weight and gaining weight for football so now i want definition and be ripped.so now i'm doing it the right way.. hope i helped in someway..

45 cardio before workouts helps alot specially in the mornings..

It'll be fine if it's like 5 - 10 minutes for a warm up, but if you're actually doing a cardio workout before lifting that's counter productive.

I'd rather save my energy for the weights and lift maximally instead of wasting it before hand.

    Edit:

If you're running early in the morning and lifting at NIGHT that's a different story completely. Give yourself adequate time between the two and they won't affect each other.

After you lift, I used to do it before and would not get a very good pump when I trained. Now I do it after and have lost more fat and gotten much better training sessions in.

Resistance training should be made a priority if you are truly interested in changing your body.

Like others have said, cardio after weights would be the best option if you are doing both in the same training session.
