    when cutting

    do you lift more weight with less reps? My friend started a cut a few days ago and is confused on what he should be doing. I checked his diet and it seems to be good.

    personaly i did 3X12 on most of my lifts. so i would say more reps , but keep lifting heavy

    keep lifting heavy. you may not be able to add weight each workout anymore, but you can keep the weight you were doing and do 3x6 or 3x8. if you suddenly go alot lighter for higher reps, you may lose some muscles.
