What symptoms might there be if someone is not getting enough fat in their diet?
added--
I haven't really been noticing any symptoms. But i know my diet is lacking in fat and today i had problems with my gf....if u get my drift.
If i increase my fat levels, how long will it take for test/hormone levels to regulate?

Your metabolism can actually slow down, resulting in unintentional weight gain from the other calories you're consuming. As well as consumption of muscle. After all, when your body needs energy, it has to get it from somewhere and if it isn't consuming fatty acids and lipids, it's going to get it from somewhere else.

For people with good insulin sensitivity low fat intakes while dieting are ok short-term while they keep eating high protein and high carb low calorie (and thus low fat) diet. But long term low fat intake is a bad idea for everyone. Fat balances hormones. Without sufficient for your body fat intake your libido will sink to eunuch levels for one thing...

Spontaneous third lung, and phantom hand syndrome.
srs: For me, the first thing I notice is irritability. Which is probably a result of hormonal imbalance. I've noticed a more balanced mental state after getting the correct amount of good fats in my diet."Eloquent...........life teacher........wtf???

Tru ^^^ Didn't think of that.
how about stuff that muscular guys always OD on (NO explode, various stacks, pre-work-out pump supplements, caffeine pills, creatine, massive sugary drinks like the dextrose/creatine combos etc) Maybe those make them really wired too!
A really buff totally bro science guy in my gym actually has a nose bleed sometimes from taking too much NO... He loves it...

To make it worse his "advice" to other smaller less genetically gifted for bodybuilding guys in the gym that I constantly overhear includes:
"You gotta eat every 2 hours. Cheese, chicken, everything."
"I don't eat potatoes, they make you fat"
"Morning I eat only protein. Then lunch is lots of fruit. This is the best way"
"I don't take protein powder, it makes you fat"
"If you wonna be big you gotta work-out 3 hours every day. Look at you, you're here 45 minutes 3x per week walking around, I'm here 2-3 hours every day"
He also brings a bag with him to the gym floor that has his NO explode tub and dextrose/creatine mixture in it. He drinks it during working out...

1. Hair falling out or thinninh
2. Skin really dry or easily cold
3. Food that tastes like ****
4. Some vitamins are only absorbed in the presence of fat
Plus the fact that every one of your cells is surrounded by a layer of fat and you don't want that to just "disappear".**MISC Running Crew**
