The best protein comes in a carton of 12 (eggs if you didnt guess). As for a powdered suppliment I would find just some plain whey CONCENTRATE or ISOLATE with nothing else in it. Dairy whey is not a good supplement, can make you sick, and is sometimes put into mixes that just say whey. Plain concentrate or isolate, if its good, has very little flavor and you can mix something in if you wish. Then at least you know exactly what you are getting.

Rob is right about the eggs, they really are...Also, be careful when taking certain kinds of protein powders, many of them contain lots of heavy metals containing one or more of these contaminants: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. Large amounts of these during the day can damage the kidneys and even liver, don't over do it with the powders, one or two max a day is fine..get your protein from food..
EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE, AND EVERYTHING IN MODERATION
    good luck
