Okay so we all have seen proteins like myofusion and trutein that are prop blends of the three kinds of protein with different absorbing speeds. whey is the fastest, then egg, then casein. Trutein is a 40%whey, 40%casein, 20%egg blend, but when would this type of shake be optimal?
1. Wouldn't drinking 100% whey post workout, and 100% casein before bed be the smartest option(vs. a prop blend on either occasion)?
2. What is the point to these types of blends if you eat 30g of protein roughly every two hours anyway?
I know a lot of people say protein timing means nothing it just matters about your numbers at the end of the day...but I still don't understand the benefit even if that is true.
