    Arrow Supplement Help!!!!

    Im 16 yrs old. Ive been lifting for about 6 months without taking any kind of supplements. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on which supplements are worth the money, and which are a waste of time. I know i should start taking protein, but and help with other supplements that are worth while would be great.

    I have never takin any supps.....well, maybe one 5lb tub of whey about 2 years ago.

    When I eat breakfast, I will take 1 vitamin C pill, 1 flaxseed oil capsule, 1 fish oil capsule, and 1 multi-vitamin. 30 mins before my workout, I will take a full scoop whey protein shake(water). Immediately after my workout, I will take a full scoop whey/ 1/4 scoop casein protein shake(water). Once I arrive home, I will find any fruit or 100% fruit juice in the fridge to eat/drink. You need simple sugars/carbs, so your muscles absorb protein and other chemicals better. 30 mins before bed, I will take a half scoop of casein protein with 1/4 scoop of whey protein.

    Casein protein is protein that is found in slow digesting cottage cheese, but doesn't have any cottage cheese. Cottage cheese isn't great for everyone because of its taste and high sodium content. However, if you like the taste and want real food, you can buy a fat-free cottage cheese with low sodium. Casein is another form of protein powder that digests 4-6 hours while whey protein digests in 2-3 hours.

    You want mostly whey protein pre and post workout because you want that protein immediately. I put 1/4 scoop of casein with my whey protein shake post workout, so I continue to have protein digesting beyond the 2-3 hours from whey protein.

    I believe this is just the right amount of protein. It's not good to have too much of anything; protein in large quanities isn't good for your kidneys.

    yeah your way too young for that stuff
    Id say whey protein and fish oil, if you have a good diet you won't even need a mutli but its not bad for you

    As far as creatine goes, you don't exactly need it right now, but if you feel like it, go for it, just make sure its plain creatine monohydrate, none of that hyped up useless bs

    i normally take whey + 3g creatine before and Whey +3g of creatine after and 1/2 of cottage cheese strained rinced then milk added, could blend it all together ( not reccomended tastes like ass)
