Wasn't too long ago where 275 wasn't "easy" weight. Nice job Woodman.

Yes I'm inviting myself.

Hopefully if I can get my swagger back by then I'll put one up!
My squats did quite well on 5/3/1 at first, but I think as the max I was using closed in on my actual max it became too much. not enough volume, too much intensity?
That's what I told myself when I was considering the reset. Thanks fella!
lol awwww yea! Will keep you posted
I'm pretty much set on cutting back to 3 days a week for at least a couple months. If I don't try TM right off, I'll end up doing my own thing.
rough draft so far-
Day 1- Heavy squat, light bench w/ chains & bands, bench accessories
Day 3- Front Squat, row, deadlift
Day 5- Heavy bench, light squat w/ chains bands, squat accessories
New Page Bump
PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Ill be sure to start conservative and monitor my recovery closely. The squat frequency should be helpful
la LIME and BombD?
I could do that if I could find the time after a workout. During the week it probably wouldn't happen but perhaps after a Saturday sessionPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Thanks dude! I usually end up getting a bit more depth on the later reps. The weight must help stretch everything out a touch more
lol I'll see what I can do. my movie editor has a voiceover function but I'm not sure how well the built in mic on my computer works. I'll have to experiment when I've got some timePRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Nice change up in the split! Are you still going for strength or going for size at this point?

Monday- 12.3.12 Macenko's 2012- Week 5A
Good session to start the week right here. No PRs, but everything felt controlled and smooth with no real grinders. Also really feeling like I worked my chest instead of my shoulders which is a good sign.
Bench
45 x 10
135 x 5
155 x 3
175 x 8
225 x 6 (should be 220 but fuk that)
245 x 4
260 x 3
260 x 3
260 x 3
230 x 8
Seated Row
100 x 10
170 x 10
170 x 10
170 x 10
not hard at all. With my BB rows going up, these don't feel any harder even with +5 a week
Resistance Band Flies
x10
x10
x10
x10
Dips
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW x 10
Would have done these right after the bench, but they were more of an after thought. No collarbone pain yet, just gotta make sure I don't go too deep with them.
PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1
