lol thanks dude
I'm pretty active during the work week. Not hard physical labor, but some of my job is in the office and the rest is on the shop floor, so I'm constantly on my feet moving back and forth between machines and my desk.

Thanks fella! I was surprised looking back at the old pics to see how much change there was.
My plan was to start the reverse diet the first week of September, but I'm considering taking the cut for anther 3-4 weeks and see what happens. Still have a fair amount of lard on the lower abs and in the love handle area.PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Wednesday 8.21.2013- Hudson Week 7
Awesome day today but this session was hard as FU.
I got up early, had a shake, chugged 2 cups of coffee then headed out the door with my oldest daughter (She's 10). We headed over NH way and went to an amusement park there. Lots of fun but it was also lots of walking with no food lol
I had all the rides that I could handle (and then some) and finally stopped for a cheeseburger around 1pm. Got home, chugged more coffee then headed downstairs to tackle this session.
Lack of calories, legs pre-exhausted, strength already done from cutting.... lol
Front Squats
45 x 10
135 x 5
155 x 5
175 x 5
just some light sets for a warmup. Easy enough reps, but my quads felt like they'd done a lot more weight afterwards
Deadlift
225 x 5
315 x 3
385 x 1
445 x 1
445 was a b!tch. it came off the ground no problem then it just stopped. I rassled with it for about 5-6 minutes before i locked it out (okay, maybe not 5-6 minutes, but it sure felt like it). Probably should have put it down, but I refused to fail on this weight. Hopefully next week's session will be better conditions or else I'm in trouble lol
Rack Squats
315 x 1
365 x 1
405 x 1
455 x 1
these weren't bad today! should have gone a few inches narrower on my stance for the 455 rep, but no big deal. I was surprised at how well it came off the pins
Shrugs
275 x 15
275 x 15
BB Row
135 x 15
135 x 15
paused and squeezed the lats at the top. Felt awesome
EZ Bar Curls
65 x 15
65 x 15
painful pump
Hammer Curls
20s x 10
20s x 10
easy reps, could have done more but the pump hurt too much lol
thanks coach!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

I see no love handles. Does your wife have to beat women off you with a stick?
She's Crafty! LOL! You and your awesome tunes.
Now to the workout! That DL was a beaut! For real. Some real strength and effort put in on that one!!
Why again do you do rack squats from so high up? Oh wait is it something for the DL program you are running?Spoon Barbell Club

Thanks dude!
Thanks Jj! figured you'd dig that tune
hah- I think she'd rather beat me with the stick (or club, or something heavier...)
lol that pull was pure determination at the end, basically because I couldn't stand to fail at that weight. Lock it out or die trying!
The rack squats are suppose to mimic the height that you start your deadlift from (they build up your leg drive for power off the floor when doing deads)PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

This log has come to an end. The close of summer, it seems fitting.
it's been a wonderful ride, lots of ups and downs over the past few years, but all in all a lot of progress has been made.
A huge thanks to everyone who has posted and shown support throughout- I love each and every one of you (srs) and I hope to see you in my new journal.
Until next time!
