Nice benching wood man. When is the max attempt, or are you going to hit 8B first? Hope Christmas was merry in the woody household.

Strong lifting my man! Huge sets mate at 275!
I loved the food pics, looks fukin tasty thats for sure and that dipping sauce. Hope the xmas was good for the family mate we had a nice day at my sisters house and saw my niece and nephew. Great times seeing the kids so happy
Bad news, i was doing some baliistic benching with my mate and decided to drop 120 to my chest and catch it and immediately throw it up again, but lost it at the bottom and hurt my sternum bone a bit, been resting it but tried macenkos and my chest was so sore to even touch the bar.. sucks have to rest few more days and see whats gonna happen~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks my man!
lol right back at ya
Looks awesome!
Thanks dude!
Roast was so good (it was beef rather than pork tho)
We got an inch on christmas morning. Just enough to look festive!
Thanks dude! Right back at ya!
The storm didn't quite get as nasty as they were saying, but we got a decent amount. I plowed the driveway when I got home from work and I'll probably have to do it again in the morning
Yeah buddy! Thanks!
Thanks fella! It seems I'm good at higher rep stuff after a heavy set. Lift heavy then go back to a lighter weight and it feels like a feather
8B is being axed for a light session so I'm 100% fresh for max day
Thanks musicman! Hope you had a great holiday!
Christmas was awesome! Kids got spoiled rotten as always.
Light session instead of 8B then hopefully max on Monday, provided I'm healthy (update to follow)
Thanks my man! I knew you'd dig that Sub with the au jus
Christmas is a blast watching the young ones tear into presents.
That sucks about the chest- gotta be careful doing stuff like that- sounds too dangerous for my liking. Hopefully it's nothing that a few days rest won't fixPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Thursday 12.27.12- Light Session
And the holiday is over! Feels like I can relax a bit now.
Back to work today after the 5 day weekend which sucks, but we're also getting hammered with a big snow storm so travel was hairy, and to top it all off, I'm sick again with something that I came down with Christmas eve. Appetite has been chit, sleep has been next to nothing, body aches, back hurts from coughing, feel weak as a kitten. It's been a rough few days, but I think I'm coming out of it. Hopefully I can be fresh by the weekend and get my calories back up. Can't be having a cold ruin my bench max plans!
Today was suppose to be my macenko's 8B session, but I axed it for some light work just to get the blood flowing and to make sure that I'm fresh for maxing.
Paused Bench
45 x 10
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
all paused reps. Bench felt surprisingly strong considering how sh!tty and weak I've been feeling. The 225 paused sets flew off the chest with some serious power which is an excellent sign. My next round of programming is going to involve some paused benching
Front Squats
135 x 5
135 x 5
135 x 5
these didn't feel as good as the bench. Core felt about as rigid as jello on the first set so I didn't bother upping the weight, just did a few sets and moved on
BB Rows
135 x 10
135 x 10
135 x 10
light, strict and easyPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1
