    opinions on fiber 1 cereal?

obviously it tastes good but there are too many ingredients on the box and that sorta makes me think its not that "good" for you.

once in a while i like a breakfast of a cup of fiber 1, yogurt and some fruit. obviously oats are a healthier option, but i dig the crunch.

    what do you guys think?

(all bran is crap, i tend to stay away from kellog's garbage as it all has high fructose CS)

Nearly all cereal is highly processed and has preservatives/additives. You could do a lot worse than Fiber One...which, although it has aspartame, has no digestible sugar added, unlike almost everything else out there.

You want some good ones? Try Kashi 7 Whole Grain Puffs or Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Whole Grain Cereal.

Ingredients: Kashi Seven Whole Grains & Sesame Blend (Whole Hard Red Winter Wheat, Whole Long Grain Brown Rice, Whole Oats, Whole Barley, Whole Triticale, Whole Rye, Whole Buckwheat, Sesame Seeds).

Ingredients: Organic Sprouted Whole Wheat, Organic Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Whole Barley, Organic Sprouted Whole Millet, Organic Sprouted Whole Lentils, Organic Sprouted Whole Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Whole Spelt, Filtered Water, Sea Salt.

It's a staple food for me. Perfectly fine and not my only fiber source (veggies and oats).

from what i gather the ezekiel sprouted grain cereal tastes like grape nuts....not into those.

usually i'll have oats for breakfast, but once in a while i like the crunch. fiber one may not be the cleanest, but its not that dirty, yea?
