Was really drained going in since I went directly after work. I have some ideas to address my hip issue after the meet, but for now I just gotta deal with what I've got. I'd be stoked with any kind of PR at the meet at this point. Still looking at a close to 400 bench though, especially now since I added my BombDonald Presses back in (a really sh*tty looking JM press that massacres my triceps).

like make a callout video challenging me to something completely ridiculous (like 300 lb weighted planks for 30 seconds).
Lol I'll think of something.

Planning on doing the video today.
Sad adamsz is sad I need your help Sir Donald! I'm guessing you just chilled with your girl and bullchitted all day eh. Amiright.
Lol I was hungover and coming off another 24 hours without sleep, I needed some rest!
LIME... you've got way too much time on your hands man. I know you go through phases where you post way too much on bb.com and then take a hiatus and then come back rinse and repeat. You're starting to get near that phase where it's time to take a break man. Inb4 e-feud.
BBing.com needs more LIMEs.

LIME's youtube channel. Very informative for novice/intermediate lifters. Please check it out --> http://www.youtube.com/user/Andrew405squat?feature=mhee
Actually, if you're interested, interviewing you and Kevin in regards to your intuitive approaches towards training on webcam would be pretty cool.
I find the fact that you guys intuitively use scientific periodization concepts in your training routines without even trying very interesting. It supports the notion that high level athletes have an internal mechanism of monitoring their internal state that is superior to the layman.
You're both pretty high ranked lifters.

That would be kind of interesting, and I'd probably do that.
I'd have to get a web cam first though lol.

You cant touch this bro.
Kipping or not, that is f*cking solid. I never was able to pull it off even when I used to train for one.

Lol sometimes. I actually made a video showing all that snow that you asked for but forgot about it. Gotta see if I can find it on my camera.

Okay cool, let me know if you're in. I would give you a list of the questions beforehand, and ideally after you both answer them I get both you and Kevin on the cam at the same time for some discussion stuff.
Obviously I would link both your youtube channels in the video.

Thanks for doing that video on the ring dips man, I appreciate that. Definitely got some good pointers and I'm gonna give them another shot on thursday after benching. I think you must have really good core/shoulder stability because when I did them I feel like I couldn't get my core and shoulders tight enough to lock my body in the correct place, and one of my arms would always shoot out after a few reps and I'd fail. When did you first start doing them/how many could you do out of curiosity?
As for your hip issues, how much time do you devote to mobility work and stretching them? I think this is one of the most underrated components of good squatting (but then again, wtf do I know lol).
I've been trying to do this before every squat workout and I think it's been helping:
There's also a ton of good ones in this vid:

I started doing them when I was like 18-19. They sucked at first but I think I got up to like 25-30 at a much lighter bodyweight.
Just keep practicing them.

I do quite a bit of mobility/stretching stuff but it was a combination of a high training volume and being a jackass that made an old injury worse.
Got some things in mind to fix it. Main thing is I would like to be able to do 1-legged squats in bare feet again. I need more mobility for sure.
B. Chins (on a fairly thick, somewhat rotating bar with no knurling)
40x5
60x5x5
With my new gym membership I have access to two gyms in the area, and I checked out the smaller of the two (which is closer to me). Didn't have a mirror in front of the squat rack which was sweet, but the bar I had to use for squats was pretty thick so it felt really weird. Main thing I was happy about is that I didn't have much hip pain. I've basically been falling asleep with an ice pack on my hip lately and it seems to be helping.
Benching went pretty well. Was really focusing on killing it each rep, so that made the last couple reps of each set harder than they could have been.
