i have been taking xtend for about 3 months now and i have to say it is a very good recovery product i normal take it during my workouts and i mix it with whey after runs but i have recently noticed when i take it while i work out afterwords i feel sick to my stomach and i don't really want to eat anything. After workouts i always try to have a small meal or snack but when i take xtend i dont want to eat anything for atleast a few hours after workouts at some points i felt like i wanted to puke when i tryed to eat something. I probably wont take this during my workouts anymore but i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I never had any issues with it and I am on my 4th or 5th tub, but I only take 2 Scoops while I work out and dont take anymore after that. Try mixing up 2 1/2-3 scoops since your bigger then me and sip it thru your work out but dont have the 2nd Dosage PWO like it suggest. I always like it when I adjust my Supps to my size.

The Sweetener and the BCAA's are two totally different things.. What is Xtend is a BCAA + Glutamine + CM formula, some people respond differently to different things. His stomach may get a full feeling from Sucralose, while others may not feel a thing from sugar, aspartame, or other forms of sweeteners. Not Branch Chains..
If he took BCAA powder and threw it into his mouth, see if his stomach gets a full feeling, that would be comparing the product to a sweetener. Your comparing apples to oranges.

I usually take a pre-workout and 1/2 scoop of xtend, sip on 2 scoops during workout and take another half scoop with some creatine post-workout...I do notice that during workout my stomach does feel a bit full or bloated and I get the burps so I'm sure you are just having an even heavier "full" feeling

I puked the first couple times I took xtend @ 2 scoops during workout. The feeling was basically a feeling like my stomach was at capacity like one described in this thread. Ive only used it a total of around 5 times or so now (just started product last week) and have sipped it slower the past few times w/ less stomach issues. I never had any issues taking sizeon mp which is an intra as well fwiw.

Hi, I started using Xtend yesterday and had 1 scoop with water during my workout. A while after my workout I started feeling very dizzy and right through the night I was dizzy and off balance. Even this morning I don't feel quite right. What on earth is going on? Is my sugar levels or something that weird, or could it be the Xtend, not that it makes any sense. This is truly the weirdest feeling!!!

It's possible you are a carrier of a Branched Chain Ketoacid Dehydrogenase deficiency or at least suffer from compound heterogeneity. The allele(s) are rare but there are few other explanations of your symptoms outside of hyperammonemia (which you would have noticed from a high protein diet) or simply placebo/another non-supplement factor. If you had the aforementioned issue, a large bolus of BCAAs would take an unusually long time to be metabolized in your body, leading to high serum levels of BCAAs and competitive inhibition of the branched chain/aromatic amino acid transporter in the brain, leading to reduced levels of tryptophan/tyrosine transport and a deficiency in neurotransmitter synthesis. You would not have experienced this from whole proteins due to a far slower rate of plasma BCAA elevation. You can try taking in a small dose of L-dopa + 5-htp and avoid free form BCAAs in the future.

Take this for what it is, but honestly I were you I would solely use BCAA's in the case that you're training fasted. Most people following a nutritionally-sound lifestyle already ingest plenty of amino acids through their diet. BCAA's, for example, are just some of the amino acids that make up whey protein. I used Xtend last March and hated drinking it during workouts. I'd much rather drink H20 and eat my food. Also remember that it could be completely unrelated to your supplement, I become nauseous every now and again solely by taking my workouts to intensities my body isn't used to. My 2c, hope you feel better.

What's my motivation? The kid that told me I'd grow up and be fat, the kid who told me my stomach was getting smaller when I was becoming healthy, the person that told me I couldn't, the person that told me I could, those who support me, and those who don't. I don't have one source of motivation, it's endless for me, but in the end... it's for me.

try mixing 1scoop with atleast 20ozof water. If I mixed it with 8oz of water like the label says i would definitely puke from such a high concentration of sucralose. Even with 20oz of water it mostly waters down the fruit flavor but the sucralose still tastes disgusting. It's not a good tasting supplement.

This is a rare occurrence, sorry to hear about your negative experience. Discontinue Xtend and please contact Rob Moran Rob@Scivation.com with your issue so he can further investigate it. Customer health related incidents are very important for Scivation.
