i just saw a bowflex comercial. i guess they will say anything to sell there product. they was talking about how u shouldnt wast ur money on expensive DIET plans, because they dont work. but using bowflex will get u n the best shape of ur life.

they dont mention u have to have a good diet plan along with this..... letting beginners think well if i work out on this then i can still eat what i want.

sorry if this isnt a good thread to put in losing fat but i didnt know where else to put it cause losing fat is 80% diet. its more important than working out i think.

am i right?

if you run into any of those fitness models in on the street and you ask them what how long they work out using bowflex, they'll laugh in your face.

I actually was stupid enough to fall for these comercials about 2.5 years ago and bought there most expensive machine the revolution

6 months ago I finally realized how stupid that was, sold it, and built the gym in my signature. There comercials will get you if you dont' know any better.

Well, I agree with them. You shouldn't waste money on expensive diet plans (i.e. Nutrisystem), instead optioning to just eat sensibly. Of course, I wouldn't go and buy a Bowflex either.

What is even worse is I keep hearing this commercial on the radio for right size smoothies, and the guy says "Did you know that eating less than 1000 calories a day can actually make you gain weight?" I am really shocked that he is allowed to get away with that one.

What Bowflex was refering to was not that diet is not important but "fad" diets don't work. There is a difference.

My Dad bought a Bowflex a year ago and you can't believe how he transformed his body on it and he is 79. I am impressed.

Well, to be fair (coming from the world of advertising), when they reference "diet plans" they are talking about those programs where you buy the pre-packaged food that gets delivered to your door and such. Most of them are pretty crappy and people fall off that wagon all the time so it is rather pointless also. Much like buying a gym membership and only going once a week.
