I personally like the stuff plain, but I've had it with chopped up banana.
I've seen some people use honey.

Why would you eat it on its own? Use it with your meals bro. Put a ton on your brocolli, chicken, etc. All my meals have cottage cheese. And I go through 300g a day like that. Its awesome, really makes my meals tasty.

Fruit, protein powder, PB, chocolate/caramel sauce, cinnamon, etc. Basically anything I'd put in oats, I put in CC.

To be honest I don't know that much about nutrition I've just been told certain foods to eat such as chicken breasts, mackeral , cottage cheese, porridge, wheatabix, brown wholemeal bread and peanut butter!
Now to me, that's not a very appitizing list of foods, so I just force them down despite tastes!
In some supermarkets you can find flavoured versions and I've been told they are ok so I buy cottage cheese and pineapple!
That's tastes fine on it's own to me.

I add about 1/2 serving to my evening protein shake (cookie n cream casein) with almond milk and ice, and it thickens it up to where it's almost like ice cream.. tastes so good, and it's like having dessert... you don't have to use almond milk, you could use whatever low cal milk you want, but adding the cottage cheese makes a huge difference in texture, and adds more protein of course..
