How should I feel after a workout?

I have just started lifting weights and was wondering how I should feel while lifting weights.

At first you will feel sore the next days after weight lifting, as you progress you're body will adapt and hopefully you will build muscle or burn fat dependending on your goals.

yeah soreness for sure, I would go easy for the first 2-3 weeks and get the hang of things, try protein for ultimate recovery. But a way to get rid of the soreness are hot baths then stretch immediately after, ice packs wont really help.

But definitely take it easy for now. you should start to see results soon though.

I'm doing 3x10 but during the second set I have to stop becuse my muscles are buring to much, should I lower the amount of weight a little bit. Also during my Pec Fly after 3 sets I feel nothing, does this mean I'm not doing it right or that there isn't enough weight?

Lower the weight if your muscles begin to burn like that or lower the reps to 7 or 8. and for the pec flys if you don't feel anything it can mean yeah your probably doing it wrong. try raising weight. your arms are supposed to come parallel to the floor when you go back down, do not bend them, and if it starts to hurt near your arm or shoulders then its too much weight.

a slight bend at the elbows is fine, as long as you're still "flying" and not "pressing"

i've seen people legit fly 65s, not bending elbows a bit = bye bye elbow

My targeted muscles don't feel sore until the next day. But I usually feel a lot of heat in general for the rest of the day. Pretty good feeling.
