Help me come up with a name please?

See, the current title for my bodybuilding compendium is: 'A bodybuilding comendium for those new to this sport and those who do not have a rock solid foundation'

Yea, seems kinda long, doesn't it. Any ideas for a shorter title that expresses the same thing? I'm stumpted

i know some of you don't 'approve' of my compendium because you think all the answeres can be found here(which they can) BUT BUT BUT, why do personal trainers exist at gyms? Obviously people will pay for advice, so there is a market there

Funny, i sold like 15copies of my mini-version, and right now i've got about 25 pre-orders for my compendium, so there has to be SOME market out there

Seriously though, I don't know how many people are gonna pay for a book, or whatever, written by some nobody kid w/out all the education to be considered a professional on the subject.

like i've said, i've already pre-sold 25-30copies, and about 15 for my smaller version

there is a market out there......just because i don't compete and am not all roided up doesn' tmean i don't know waht i'm talking about

Im doubting that and if it were true...what are you going to do when these kids fail out from the advice you've given them? I have nothing against you, but you seem to be a bit cocky to be someone with no credientals. And you're charging people for a "book" you've created from information you've gotten here. If you were a really a good individual and wanted respect, you'd link newbies to various sites for information, not sell them an unrecognized "book" of your opinions for petty change.

1) i only came here within the last year and just hang around the teen section- i've hardly learned anything from here. i've learned a bit online, but most of my information has come from a group of 'friends' who've schooled me in bodybuilding(5 of them, each with atealst 15yrs. of experience--> hehe, they felt sorry for me 4yrs. ago and took me under their wing..yea for me )

2) i know people arn't going to fail out of it because when i did do some training on the sidelines a while back, everybody who read my mini-version really liked it and said stuff like 'oh, i didn't know that. damn, that's why i've been sucking for so long'

as for credentials, let me get this straight. here's me with 7yrs+40yrs. of assimilated knowledge, i have no credentials, i can't write a book. Then there's alter-ego me, same experience BUT alter-ego me has a certification from, say, ISAA. Now all of a sudden i'm qualified to right a book? Um, okaaaaaaaaaay

Yellow, if people are deciding to buy it, then it's their choice. I dont think head is the Guru of wieghtlifting, but he does know alot of useful information and is probably putting it an easily digestable format. I got no prob with that.

Its obvious you havent matured enough to take this idea any further than some petty money, maybe someday when you learn to research and come up with **** on your own rather than hearing **** from other people you may be successful. I dont know why, but this bothers me for some reason, I guess the taking advantage of kids with money to sell them info. they could have for free, thats pretty f*cked up and not creatine very good karma for yourself, what goes around will come around in this world. By reading your posts here, the majority give me the impression you still have a lot to learn before you attempt to give other guidence...

40yrs of assimilated knowledge? Good luck passing that through anyone who isnt under 16. I would hardly consider that credientals. I would almost like to buy one of these jsut to pick it apart.....

actually, not that it's any of your business, but only 4 people are < 20yrs. old have pre-purchased a copy. the other 16 or so people are all 30+

Its only hard to believe the ignorance of some kids who will actually pay you for information, when they can get much better information for free.

Who cares if people buy his book? Though all his information isn't the best, it's not like he gives out BAD information. Hell, if I knew there was such a demand for it, I wish I would have thought of the idea first.

I am with you Jacket. Not to flame, but Jacket is right Amusclehead, you are charging people money for information that you can get for free from this site alone. Infact i'm certain you could make dozens of your books from bb.com. This site has a wealth of knowledge that your book doesn't even come close to.

Despite what you say, you are not qualified to write a book, you are still a kid yourself. As someone else mentioned for the same price as your book you could buy Arnolds Encyclopedia. I personally would not purchase a book on bodybuilding unless it was written by either a certified expert in the field or a respected and legit bodybuilder. You have not produced proof of your extrodinary gains and do not have the respect on this board that I would look for.

I'm sorry but in my opinion you are just trying to make a fast buck.

fast buck. lol, hardly, at $10 i hardly think i'll be a multi-millionare from it, lol. actually, up here arnold's is 35cdn

and b) i would never ever follow a 'professional bodybuilder' advice, unelss they were 100% natty(lol, natty+professional= almost an oxymoron). i've made the mistake of following arnold's book and paid for it. oh well, live and learn.

now let's just assume i'm doing it to make a fast buck and not because i'm trying to help people, at cost, who don't want to use the internet/don't know how/don't have the time/etc...

so, let's say i sell 50copies. 50*10 =$500. WOW! 500!! considering i just dropped about 2,500 for a new set of just irons(golf), i hardly think i'm worried about making a fast buck
