Anything in the vault I might miss before leaving?
Any things located just outside the vault when I leave it?“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” - Mahatma Gandhi.

Very important tip-
Choose 3 main perks you like and add bonuses to those every time you level. Don't try to distribute them evenly because your character will be garbage.
Also, there is a ****load of side missions. A lot of them are actually more fun than the main missions. Get wolfe and charon early on and the game will become a LOT easier. Get good karma in tenpenny tower for the ghoul mask. Use it to find the Lincoln repeater.★ 92B ★

pick up EVERYTHING you can sell it when you get to megaton
concentrate on upgrading "small guns" first cos they are the most widely available when you start.
SPECIAL skills: Strength isn't that important, intelligence is the most important and make sure you put a few points towards luck.
upgrade either science or lockpick as fat as possible so you can open doors and sht.
I've just been playing the point lookout expansion like 10 mins ago. Fallout ftw. Can't wait for new vegas to come out.

Strength dosent matter too much unless you like melee weapons and pick up alot of stuff.(Increases carry weight)
You main focus should be Intelligence, Endurance, and Luck
For skills, Small Guns, Medicine, and Lockpick
Don't slay whole towns and stuff, that's silly
Don't blow up Megaton
Sell usless junk for caps, only buy ammo when you need it.
Power Armor is overrated.

1. Get 9 intelligence, pretty much mandatory unless you know what you are doing, you will not regret it. Also, get the Educated perk at level 4, it won't seem like much at first, but that **** adds up fast.
2. Get the Bobblehead when you are 16 years old, the cutscene will start out with you getting examined by Dad on a table, the Medicine Bobblehead is on his desk in the same room.
3. Small guns are beast, trust me. These include Rifles (both bolt-action and automatic), Pistols, and shotguns.
4. I suggest getting Lockpick, Repair, and Small Guns as your Tag Skills (You will know what I mean when you get there).
5. I recommend getting lockpick to at least 50 as soon as possible, especially if you plan on exploring the wastes (I personally get it to 100 quickly, but it isn't mandatory).
6. Pistols are good in the beginning, but you will find that the hunting rifle is much better (in the Vanilla game, anyway).
7. In the first town, the first house on the right, you will find a nice surprise in there if you have the skill to lockpick it.
8. Dont kill innocent people for fun, on your first playthrough you won't know who might be related to a quest and who might not.
9. Don't blow up the first town.
10. Dont be afraid to steal, Karma isn't really important.
11. EXPLORE THE FREAKING WASTELAND, ON YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH, RANDOM EXPLORING COULD ADD UP TO ~ 100 HOURS OF FUN
If you are playing it on the computer update it to 1.7 here!
