I am following the basic starting strength and want to add one single bicep exercise to the SS program. Give me a suggestion.
So the workout would look like this
Squats
Military Press
Barbell Rows
Pull Ups
Bicep Exercise
I was thinking of a isolation since the others are all compound exercises.

BB or Hammer curls, IMHO

--The proper plural form of the Latin adjective biceps is bicipites, a form not in general English use. Instead, biceps is used in both singular and plural (i.e., when referring to both arms). The form bicep [sic], although common even in professional contexts, is considered incorrect. (from Wikipedia)

NONE.
You need to just stick with the basic program and milk it for all it's worth. No adding a bicep exefice won't kill you. It is obvious, though, from your comment about making it an isolation exercise that you really don't understand the whys and wherefores of the basic program so you are really in no position to go changing it and doing so will not improve your proress in any positive way.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No. 11

Why do BB rows then pull ups. Both primarily target your lats. Maybe this..
squats
pendlay rows (still hits lats but also your middle back alot more than bent-over rows)
Military Press
Chins
Dips
Power cleans hit, primarily, your legs and traps. I think it is a worthwhile move to keep in the program even though SS kinda neglects hitting your lats heavy. As I have stated b4 ,many times, idc for this program because of overall muscular imbalance issues. New lifters, however, should follow this STRENGTH program exactly as it is most likely is better than an altered version you made up or some crap workout you designed (we all have done it b4 so don't feel bad).
