Thanks for the very informational post. Yeah, I've always wondered why people say that our body needs 7-8 hours of sleep yet sometimes even if we sleep for 10 hours or more, we're still worn out when we wake up. Thanks for sharing a very detailed explanation. It was really helpful. Hey, any tips on how to have one complete sleep cycle?

I have an app for my iPhone which uses all it's sensors while you sleep to measure where you are in your cycle, and then after recording several days' worth of data it can be set to wake you within a certain time-range whenever is most optimal. It works really well, I've been super impressed with it!
