    refeed macros?

ive been cutting recently on a 50p/30f/20c diet. Im planning a refeed today and was wondering if I should drop fats much lower. Maybe do a 60c/40p/10f? I heard its better to lower fats right down, keep protein high and up carbs for my refeed? Is this correct? or should i still ensure i get my healthy fats in there?

I am also doing a re-feed today..I usually keep protein the same...drop fats and up carbs...overall calories are increased but that is part of the "shock" to the metabolism that u want out of it...it may take a few times of "playing" with it until u figure out the most effective way for you though..

    Standard guidelines are:
    - 1000 extra calories over your regular dieting intake
    - From complex carbs (whole wheat pasta, yams, brown rice, oats)
    - No direct fat, fructose or sugar sources for the entire day.
    - Protein 1g/lb (not higher)

    Why no direct sugar sources?

I haven't a slightest clue. But I was curious about re-feeds and carb-cycling, and spent a few hours reading up on it using search words such as Lyle McDonald, Alan Aragon, carb cycling, re-feed carb-up etc etc I didn't find much, but what I found I tried to take mental notes of....

I guess low GI complex carbs may be better at replenishing muscle glycogen and keeping insulin low. It sounds like a bunch of bro science, but I'm playing it safe! Yams FTW! F_ck fruits and sugar (at least for the re-feed day)
