I'm trying to get ready for long distance running like track or maybe cross country.
Like certain workouts to do....etc
I'm new to lifting but i got diet/routines on point, and i know it will be a lot harder to gain muscle doing this.
I'm preparing for this whole year for next school year so I'll be completely prepared.
Can only jog around 2-4 miles now.

long distance running is slowtwitch fibers, ever notice how they alll look like they have 2%bf and zero muscle, versus a 100m sprinter whose massive, fasttwitch fibers. your rep ranges arent going to 5 x5 , for my legs if i was a long distance sprinter i would do light weight 15-25 reps each set, build up an endurance, as for upperbody i have no idea
