Maybe..it depends on what environments you typically put yourself into.
It has happened to me only a couple times. I will say, my ex approaching me at a pool party in Vegas on a holiday weekend really boosted my confidence, considering there were a chit ton of dudes there and she's pretty hot.

In fact, just about every girl i've dated was the one to approach since my social anxiety makes it hard to talk to girls.
