Newbie from NJ
Hi there!!
My name is Rachel, I'm 34 and I live in New Jersey. About 3 yrs ago I lost about 60 lbs on Weight Watchers and I have recently gained about 15 lbs from what I lost (maintained until recently). I have decided to really REALLY get back in shape and do this the proper way. I get discourage very easily because I want it to happen right away and when I don't see results.. well I just get discouraged... BUT.. this time I'm very determined!! My husband is helping me out also since he has been exercising & working out since this past summer.. my goal is to lose 30 lbs and get toned by November.. we are finally taking our Honeymoon (after 4 yrs, lol, better late than never) in Jamaica (Breezes Resort).
Any help is appreciated. I'm currently doing the eliptical machine for 20 minutes.

Yes! Suppliments make all the difference. You just need to know what is right for your body. And you can't go wrong with a multivitamin that's made for Atheletes. Working out you need more Vitamins & Minerals than regular folks.

Hey there! Good luck to you! I did the WW thing, but I've found that clean eating and lifting weights is the way to go!! Good luck to you...I would start by reading all of the stickies and checking out some of the journals..

You have to include some type of weight lifting into your program. If you get those muscles working for you your metabolism will be in high gear for a longer period of time. That means you will be burning fat longer.

Two terms sum it up: Proper Diet & Weight Training (not high reps and light weights either, HEAVY weights in the 8-12 rep range).
Yep, to tone up you need to lose fat and build some curvy muscle which doesn't happen overnight, it has to become your LIFESTYLE to become toned and then you have to keep doing it to MAINTAIN that type of physique.
