I think I will carry on doing just that! Haha.
I need to get another job, but don't work the same hours every week, so I have no idea how to apply to a new place and say, "btw, I don't know what hours I'm working in advance, so I can't tell you when I can actually work"...BRB' Projectile Vomitin'

Knocking it without trying it, obv.
I don't mind not having fixed hours. I just don't get enough of them to not need another job at the moment, so unless I can find someone willing to give me a lot of flexibility, I don't see it happening. I'll just have to donate kidneys or something.BRB' Projectile Vomitin'

They do so does Phillips the problem lies in the design. They want to make them slim and nice looking. So space inside is at a premium, they generally use very small batteries which hold very little charge.
If you leave them without charging the batteries go down on their own very quickly because they don't hold much to start with. To keep batteries healthy once they get charged for the first timeyou need to try keeping them charged all the time.
I suppose from the design point of view it is desirerable that the thing doesn't last you long so you have to buy another in a year or two. The batteries in those are normally soldered in so unless you know and have the tools they are not user replaceable. On top of that they often have weird batteries which can be unobtainable unless you are an authorised repair centre. Bigger shavers are much better -battery wise- than these small ones.

borrowed my mates pair of binoculars lately as they are awesome. cost around 300 quid. so good compared to my 1990's pair for about 20 quid. anyway i love looking at the moon, stars etc and last night was pretty clear here so was at the window staring out at the moon and saw a woman opposite looking at me, then realised shiit, i look like a dirty old man perving on people. can i get into trouble doing that or should i hide behind the curtains next time?
really want a telescope too. didnt realise for a couple hundred quid you can pick up a decent one for stargazing.log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=127256023

Anybody here from Cornwall? I live in Lincolnshire, which is nice, but Cornwall just seems so attractive. I want to live near the sea. What is it like to live in Cornwall? What is your economy like? Do you have any jobs/industries available other than tourism? Is it true you learn Cornish at school now? Do people call themselves Cornish rather than English?
