Lately as I have stepped out my workout routine, I have been feeling sick. My GUESS is that it's related to my diet which admittedly is very poor overall.
Today I worked out @ 6 and my day consisted of:
- Brown bagel w/ butter + peanut butter for breakfast
- A banana + chocolate + protein smoothie in the morning
- Pizza sub from subway for lunch
- A glass of Arthur's smoothies (2 servings of fruits+veggies)
- Frozen yogurt w/ strawberries
- A Clif bar 45 minutes before my workout
Any ideas what simple changes to my diet I could make for a better result? Or might someone have insight as to another cause of it?
Other days my diet has been worse for the day and I have felt sicker, which leads me to believe its my diet...
Thanks to those more knowledgeable!

My comments in bold - Just my opinions.
- Brown bagel w/ butter + peanut butter for breakfast no protein and there are better carb sources, in my opinion
- A banana + chocolate + protein smoothie in the morning not the best choice for a snack here. You shouldn't live off of protein shakes. Tuna, chicken, eggs, something
- Pizza sub from subway for lunch Not the best thing to eat from Subway. Grilled chicken subs and a few others would be a little better - protein
- A glass of Arthur's smoothies (2 servings of fruits+veggies) not sure of what this is, but it sounds very sugary. Again, no protein - high carb.
- Frozen yogurt w/ strawberries protein. Real dinner. Real vegetables.
- A Clif bar 45 minutes before my workout [b] Not my favorite protein bar, but that's not my call. Check out 2020-wellness.com for the Paycheck bar which has solid macros.
- should have something post workout
I hope I helped give you some ideas. And if your diet looks worse sometimes, you may want to do something about this. I am not sure if it could be making you sick. Just trying to help.

I forgot to mention but all of those were in that order and before workout. When I got home I bad (instant) oatmeal.
The arthurs juice is definitely high in sugar...
It MIGHT have been the clif bar that did it but aren't they sorta designed for that? Iv had them before other more casual workouts (or during, like a long bike ride) and felt them beneficial
My problem is I am extrmely picky and unhealthy.. I eat a lot of fast food/westernized/American food. It's bad and I want to change it but I'm also finding it difficult to change such a core habit I have had for so long and grew up on. It's all I know. Also I guess having trouble easing in and finding substituons
I could definitely add like 2 scrambled eggs to my breakfast...
Any other input/suggestions?

I know they are designed to be eaten before activity, but they make me feel sick. Not at the gym, just in general. I get heartburn from them and just not a good overall feeling. So personally I say drop those and go for something else - but that's just me.
I would save the juice for the morning then, or after a workout. And make sure it is 100% juice.
Extremely picky huh? Yeah me too. But it keeps me from cheating on my diet, which works well for me. You need to eat out less, and make more meals. I can't see it any other way. Those restaurants have food loaded with junk (sodium, fat).
Scrambled eggs are a good start. I am lazy when it comes to eggs - I use 1-2 eggs and 4 egg whites to make my eggs - I put them in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, 1 minute, stir, last minute, stir, eat.
Tuna from a can is easy. Cooking a pack of chicken breast and putting it in tupperware is easy. Eggs are easy. You have to add in protein, reduce the carbs a little - in my mind. If you are looking to eat healthier.
