Not only are you going to get more introverts than extroverts because it's the internet, but it's also a Saturday night. Most extroverts are out doing stuff us introverts don't care about.

Those definitions of introvert and extrovert aren't really right. They suggest preference comes into the distinction - it doesn't.
The difference between the two is a matter of where a person gets their energy. That's seriously all there is to it - you either get your energy from being around people, or from being alone (and doing the opposite for any extended period of time will leave you feeling physically and mentally drained).
So it's where you get your energy from - the definitions in the OP refer more to some of the stereotypical behaviours that can (but don't necessarily) stem from a person's introversion/extroversion.
Statistically, far more people are extroverts than introverts (something like 75%).

By the definition in the OP, I'm definitely an Introvert. I just dont care or really like to hang out and constantly do stuff. Theres nowhere I'd rather be on a friday night than in the gym and there's nowhere else I'd rather be on a saturday night than chilling at home watching movies and drinking some booze. (yes, I like to drink alone).

Maybe, but I think there is another way to look at this. In a way, insecurity has a better chance to match up with the extrovert than the introvert. The introvert finds strength from within and draws energy from himself. Look at the extrovert on the other hand, bored alone, always having to have interaction with other people. The extrovert in essence must use other people to continually validate and assure their self worth, they can't get it from themselves. That seems pretty insecure to me.
Just trying to look at this from both sides, theory crafting if you will. I'm an Introvert and wouldn't have it any other way. I don't like small talk, what you bought at the mall doesn't interest me, etc etc. If I socially interact it has to something meaningful, or else I rarely waste my time on it."We live in a primitive time, don't we? Neither savage nor wise. Half measures of the curse of it" Hannibal Lector
