    Toilet issues - Not an nice subject...but

    Hello all

    I have been doing keto for a while now and more recently the Steak and eggs diet

    Can anyone tell me if they have experienced slight diarrhea. I have while using normal keto and now during the steak and eggs (nothing else eaten) lots of water

    Im not in pain with it as if eaten something bad from local take away, its just runny

    Is this normal or should I be looking at something to change (besides possibly my underwear)... Thats a joke by the way :-)

    The only time I suffered from the squirts was when I consumed too much dairy during my first two carb ups. I've been on Meat n Egg for 10 days and haven't experienced any stool problem. I take two FiberCon pills a day, the occassional Metamucil tbsp with water, and I've been running smooth (still only every 3 or 4 days though)
    100% Health = 80% Nutrition + 20% Gym

    College lifestyle + multiple knee surgeries got me into a mess. Heaviest I registered was 252 sloppy pounds.

    Perhaps its just the way my body reacts

    How are you finding the steak and eggs, I could do with some tips for flavouring. (well the mince beef anyway)

    I have bought stewing steak wholesale at just £1.50 lb (good price) its a cheap cut and supposed to be slow cooked. I cut it into thin slices and fry to rare and its lovely..slightly chewy but I like that

    im on my second time round with keto and i remember on the first time after a few months i had that but it only lasted for 2 weeks i dont think i changed anything im guessing my body jsut got used to it?

    I focus on 12 oz of 85% ground beef, 4 oz pork chop, 12 eggs, Mayo, mustard, butter, evoo. I get around 2100 kcals and 140+ grams of fat. Basically I just mix it all together and eat 2 beef meals and 1 pork meal.

    For the last few weeks I actually have...

    Including today. Its weird though because its different from usual diarrhea because ive only been needing to crap once. Usually when I go through a bout of it lasts for a couple of hours and once youve gone the first time theres no relief. On keto though I go once, im ****ting through the eye of a needle and I feel good as soon as im done. I guess my body realises thats the only way to fully empty my bowels. When its not diarrhea my **** is really thin in diameter too. Its like the girth of a cheese stick as opposed to the girth of a banana when I take a regular dump after a carb-up.

    Ya guys the shear volume of food you are consuming on keto is not near anything it is on a normal diet furthermore the carb up period.

    Probably scares people at first/they think they are constipated....I might suggest 1/4 flaxseed a day. Grind it up and your good to go.
