Just found some news about genetic mutations in a kid who is very young who was born with tons of muscle. Looking into it I found a bunch of things like 'mighty mice', Blue cows, and some ripped dog. Also, doing my research I found not only does it increase muscle development exponentially, but also reduces body fat. Sounds like a great thing to stop producing in your body, but I don't want to end up like those creepily muscular people/animals, I just want decent mass.
The thing is, I don't want to take some special brand new never before tested drug from the bodybuilding companies that requires a waiver stating if I die, tough crap.
Are there any natural ways to keep my myostatin levels low? I've heard whey protein and working out (duh) helps, but what else, and more importantly, what else that won't mess me up?
Edit: Added follistatin to topic title as this problem seems to be an 'either or'. Anybody know of any natural follistatin supplements?

I'm bumping my thread not only to get back to the top, but also to educate the people viewing who may or may not know much about myostatin.
Myostatin (also known as growth differentiation factor 8) is a secreted TGF beta protein family member that inhibits muscle differentiation and growth. Myostatin is produced primarily in skeletal muscle cells, circulates in the blood and acts on muscle tissue, by binding a cell-bound receptor called the activin type II receptor. In humans, myostatin is encoded by the MSTN gene.

i chuckled at the guy who made the myo-t12 stuff ... he says it caused him to gain some ridiculous amount of weight but only at high dosages that most people would find cost prohibitive. total BS.. that stuff is far from being a real deal. if you want to effect your own myostatin i recomend you eat right train right and get lots of water. follow up with two naps per day and 7-8hrs sleep at night.
