    Pullups every day?

    Has anyone supplemented their weight lifting routine with a pullup routine that requires you to do pull/chin ups daily, such as the popular "Recon Ron" program?

    Did the pullups affect your normal weightlifting routine in any way, and more importantly what results did you see from doing pull ups every day?

    Example of Recon Ron Pullup Program:

    i need to get back to doing more pullups - i still do some everyday, just not as much as I should

    Well as for the results - fantastic - can always do at least 10 even when I'm fat and out of shape - best when lean has been bw+30kg x3

    I remember when I was on a combat deployment to Iraq, I often did 5 sets/10 - 12 reps daily. What did I end up with? A torn rotator cuff on my shoulder...

    I did pull ups every workout with my routine for a good 4 months...so about 4 sometimes 5 times 5 times a week pull ups and results were good didnt affect anything for me

    Everyone is different, so I guess you could give it a shot if you like. I would think pullups or chins everyday would overtrain your rear delts unless of course you are Arnold. Anyhow this topic was brought back some time ago. Here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?p=48181611

    I wouldn't recommend the same body part worked daily. Vary it up a little bit.
