    Gomad

Wouldn't the GOMAD (Gallon of Milk a Day) diet be potentially harmful to at least teens, because of all of the added hormones in milk today? For those of you who don't know what it is, I would eat like I do normally, just drink a gallon of milk along with it.

If you get real milk than it would be okay to do. Also if you are wondering about fat you won't really gain any from all of that milk unless you go quite beyond your macros. Real whole milk.

edit: ^ as for the acne what I did when I did GOMAD for a few days(nothing really significant I know, but I was getting sick of milk) was before you go to bed put some warm honey on your face where you have/get acne then cover it with a few band-aids and go to bed, should help wonders.

No, probably not. But if you're gonna be that whiny about it, get some natural organic milk. Costs a little more, but it won't have the hormones and stuff you're all worried about.

There's a fair amount of sugar in a gallon of milk though. I would want to avoid that.

yeah but generally GOMAD is only done for no more than 3 months on average so if you watch it should be fine since its temporary.

the only thing i would watch out for is the sugars.

i drink 1/2-3/4 gallon of milk per day, and i try and make sure to keep sugar from other sources to an absolute minimum.

as for the hormones, u probably wouldnt notice them, and even if u did, they add thinbgs like Rbst, and other artificial growth hormones

The reason people say Milk is basically roids for beginners. Now I only personally drink it with 2 cups post workout with my whey mix(not exactly a shake as I mix it with a spoon) and a cup or two before bed. Occasionally more such as with breakfast if I will need more cals and protein to reach my macros.

I know most of them have, but there are still some, especially in skim milk I read. I know it's not a significant amount, but meh.
