Cooking salmon on george foreman grill?

I've used my gf grill for chicken and burgers, but never for salmon. Does it work well? What are the cooking times? I was considering leaving the top open so as not to press out all the juices.

Also, would I possibly be better off wrapping the salmon in tinfoil and sticking it in the oven?

    thanks

Salmon is pretty resilient fish. George Foreman's are hardly the harshest things in the world. Grill it to 140 degrees, or until tender with a fork. Pepper and lemon. Enjoy.

It won't look pretty, but you could use aluminum foil around it while on the grill...maybe....

i grill it with the top down. i make sure to give the salmon a light spray though because the skin tends to stick.

Spray the George Foreman grill and cook the salmon for 3 minutes. That's it.

I've tried it before, but it's always a beating for me to clean it afterward even with spraying before, so I just bake it in foil in the oven. Either way it turns out delicious

Yo, I cook my salmon on the Foreman every time. Just sprinkle some lemon pepper seasoning on it, pre heat the grill and spray with pam. Cook for about 4 mins and your done! One of my easiest meals to prep.

whoever said never cook with the lid up is wrong...you definitely can. but with salmon id imagine you'd be fine closing it.
