There are some parallels between these two supplements, should I just use one or the other? They are the only workout supplements in my stack. :-)

Run one product for a period of time, see how you like the results, then try the other and compare. That is the only fair way to assess what product works for you. A supplement is just that... it supplements a training/diet program. Everyone react different to different formulas/products.
Xtend was labeled Recovery Product of the Year and Glutamine Product of the year in the past, this year it is up for both + Intra-workout product of the year, and can be found for 36$ for 90 servings. May be price per serving one of the cheapest BCAA supplements on the market!

you can use them solo and that can be beneficial for new supps to see how your body responds, however, they do complement each other very well for endurance and recovery. One of my favorite stacks for aerobic endurance (triathlon training) mixed with weight lifting is BO+xtend+carb product (like Cytosport).
