I am looking for shoes to help with my squat. There are a lot of options and there so i figured if money was not an issue I would be able to hear everyones favourite or their best choice.

I have never squatted in a heel, so no comment there. But pulling in chucks is homo, I use slippers

depends on your stance to some extent. I squat with my heels in line with my shoulders, and I absolutely love my DoWin Rogues.

Currently I go barefoot(I get sand and rocks all over my feet, yikes) or just socks but I would love to get a pair of nikes was thinking about buying them when I was at sports authority getting my new set but It would of ran me out of money.

I don't need a belt yet so don't start flaming, but are the nike belts decent or what would you suggest for the future as I saw that they have them. Any ideas?

Nike doesn't make powerlifting belts nor are their lifting shoes avaliable at sports authority

so I'm slightly confused

First off I was trying to say I brought my set at SA and it wasn't on sale so I had to pay more, was going to buy the shoes elsewhere online as thats what Ive done for all my other equipment(weights are a hella expensive to ship here).

They do make normal belts though so I was wondering how those are, but I found a review for it by a "PL'er" who wears gloves so I don't trust it.

I would keep my money and continue using my 10-year-old Adidas Weightlifting shoes and Vibram Fivefingers. Eventually the Adidas may need to be resoled, but I would do that rather than buy a new pair of shoes.

This. I got one of those chalk balls off ebay and it was like $3 shipped. I don't know how that could hold you back from buying $200 shoes.

I really like my inzer pillars. they fit nice are stable and the heel isnt raised a ton so i can dead in them too.

Kung fu slippers, or socks...sometimes barefoot if it is hot.
Dunlop volleys if I am at the strongman gym (I need a versatile shoe....they are like low cut chucks but made in Australia)
