Or ice cream shake? I'm thinking it would be a good way to add some extra calories to a regular protein shake. Who needs weight gainer, just throw milk, eggs, protein powder and some cake or ice cream into the blender. Voila 2000 calories!

you could make healthy cake, like with wheat flour, applesauce instead of oil/butter and add it... stuff like that is super cal dense... plus u throw in some almond butter etc, and you got a high calorie shake full of win...

Eh, a "cake shake" as you've described it to me sounds weird. At first I thought you meant flavor, like Cold Stone Creamery has their "birthday cake" ice cream flavor. But actually mixing cake in sounds weird.
Personally, I'd stick with more trying to duplicate the flavor with some form of flavored protein powder, but that's just me.
