    Night Time Snacks?

The situation is that I usually eat a night time snack around 2 or 3 hours before I go to sleep. At the moment the only things I've really been eating are yogurts, peanut butter or ordinary nuts. Kinda getting bored of it now!

Any ideas on what to eat? I hear some people eating tuna and meat but I can't handle that type of food so late in the night! Should I just aim for protein and good fats before bed?

I tried cottage cheese before. The most foul thing I've ever eaten! I don't know how anyone can eat it...

Would Protein Bars work? They have good amounts of fat and protein, but carbs also. Does that matter if I eat it 3 hours before I sleep?

Matter? Your fat/weight loss is determined by caloric intake subtract caloric expenditure - not whether or not you eat before bed.

I have heard tons of people say that eating carbs before sleep is bad as you are not using them up.
